Once again the Cormar Carpets stand at the Flooring Show was a hive of activity, with an increased number of visitors, from throughout the UK.

 

The September trade show held for over 50 years in the picturesque Yorkshire town of Harrogate, proved to be a huge success. With over 150 brands exhibiting, covering some 3,500 square metres of exhibition space across four halls, the Harrogate Flooring Show is the main show of the year for all things flooring!

 

After enjoying a successful year, including winning the Flooring One Award for the 11th year, Metro Group’s Supplier of the Year, for the 16th consecutive year, and Interiors Monthly 2015 Best Carpet Manufacturer award for the third consecutive year, Cormar showcased carpet samples of it’s latest additions to its portfolio of successful carpet collections. This included Bouclé Neutrals, a wool rich loop pile carpet, crafted from a blend of 50% New Zealand wool and 50% polyester. Available in six 'on trend' colour ways and three designs - level loop, textured loop and stripe. 

 

Also on display was the Обновлено Natural Berber Twist collection containing 14 natural flecked shades, including fashionable greys and contemporary beiges. Manufactured using 80 % Pure New British Wool, 10% Nylon and 10% Tuftbond, the wool twist carpet range is available in two weights – Elite 45oz and Deluxe 55oz.

 

Previewed on the stand was  Cormar’s new online trade portal which will be released over the coming months. The new responsive design, suitable for tablets and mobile phones features a simplified design for easier use, as well as several new features, including the ability for retailers to order carpet samples online. David Cormack, Marketing Director at Cormar said “Once again the show has been a great success for Cormar and a positive start to the Autumn peak selling period.”
